Favorite Skiing Destinations
Fassi is an avid skier and loves hitting the slopes. Some of her favorites skiing destinations include Breckenridge and Keystone, which are both in Colorado, and Tahoe, Nevada. With seven separate ski resorts, Tahoe, Nevada is a skier’s paradise. There are more than 8,000 acres of skiable terrain, over 500 ski trails, and 15 terrain parks. Enthusiasts can also participate in night skiing in this area. It is only a short distance away from Fassi’s Nevada offices, making visiting the slopes often possible.
Keystone, Colorado offers over 3,000 acres, 20 chairlifts, and 139 trails. They also have night skiing available for lovers of this winter sport. One of their newest attractions is Keystone Adventure Tours, which takes expert skiers on a guided tour down Independence Bowl, the resort’s new expert-only terrain. The mountain has a vertical of 3,128 feet and offers shuttle service to bring skiers to the remote expert areas. They also have the EpicMix Racing Experience. Skiers can race down the mountain and have their scores matched against professional competitors, such as Lindsey Vonn.
Breckenridge Mountain has a base elevation of 9,600 feet, a vertical rise of 3,398 feet, and a summit elevation of 12,998 feet. There is more than 2,300 acres of skiable terrain on four peaks.
